Thanks to having all weather conditions and a varied geography, this country contains many zones in which you can enjoy watching the local flora and fauna. Plenty of marine fauna can be watched at the Atlantic Patagonian region.
There are several National Parks with abundant flora and fauna waiting for you.
Following are some very interesting zones where you can enjoy this activity:

Salta
There is plenty of flora and fauna to watch at the El Rey and Baritú National Parks. Organized departures from Salta.

Misiones
There is a variety of possibilities for observing the flora and fauna of the Iguazú National Park (close to Puerto Iguazú), due to the fact that it hosts around 2000 vegetal species, 400 bird species, a number of mammals and an immeasurable world of insects, which turns this ecosystem into one of the richest natural environments in the country.

Buenos Aires
Ernesto Tornquist National Park (Sierra de la Ventana), Sierra del Tigre Natural Reserve (Tandil).

Córdoba
Watching sierra ferns, a variety of birds, condors at the Condorito ravine (accessible from Mina Calvero), and mammals like pumas and deer.

San Luis
Flora and fauna, besides fossil dinosaurs' remains can be found at the Sierra de las Quijadas National Parks; accessible from San Luis.

Atlantic Patagonia
Watching a great variety of marine fauna at the Península Valdés, Puerto Pirámides, Punta Tombo and Punta Loma localities: sea lions and sea elephants, penguins, whales and Orcas (at places near Puerto Madryn, Trelew and Las Grutas); there are numerous naval stations for watching marine fauna down to the south as well, accessible from Río Gallegos among other localities.

Andean Patagonia
Watching a variety of flora, like the woods of larches and myrtles unique in the world, and fauna at the Lanín, Nahuel Huapi, Los Arrayanes, Los Alerces, Lago Puelo, Los Glaciares and Tierra del Fuego National Parks. Accessible from many places in the region.

Bird-Watching
Bird-watching in Iguazu National Park is a very popular activity among ornithologists around the world. Guided walks can be taken along rain-forest paths, or trips in special open vehicles. In both cases a specialist accompanies the visitors to give them information about the birds that inhabit the Misiones forest. This is a private not a regular service, that must be reserved in advance.

There are two options:

• Birding: through different settings within Iguazu National Park.
• Sighting of rare or endangered species.
