Among the main challenges for lovers of adventure tourism are the trips in rubber boats and rowing boats, on a specially-designed five-kilometer circuit along the Lower Iguazu river. The hour and half long trip sets out from the area of the rapids and after a few stormy minutes reaches the waterfall itself. There the visitor takes part in the famous "Falls Baptism", getting soaked under the never-ending torrent of water.
Once the Upper Iguazu river has been reached, the emotions in the adventure are quieter and the trip is taken more calmly. Aboard rowing boats, the flora of the region can be enjoyed amidst the singing of innumerable species of birds. The journey ends at the magnificent Devil's Throat.
