- Being included in the immediate next flight.
- Endorsing the transportation contract to other airline with the approval of the passenger.
- Being rerouted to the destination indicated on the contract, by the airline's services or by other or others means of transportation.
- Compensation for the refusal of embarkation according to the airline's regulations.
- To the reimbursement of the value of the unused ticket according to the payment conditions.
Besides, the airline must facilitate the following additional services to stranded passengers:
- Access to telephone calls.
- Meals and snacks according to the waiting time considered until passengers can embark in another flight.
- Hotel accommodations with transportation to and from the airport.
NOTE: These benefits do not reach passengers flying for free or with tickets worth less than 50% of the normal rate.
EMBARKING CONDITIONS
- The passenger must show up at the airline's airport counter according to the indications given by the airline the agreed day and hour.
- It is recommended to be at the airline's counter one or two hours before the scheduled departure time, depending on it being a domestic or international flight respectively.
- The passenger must show proof of his identity when embarking with the corresponding document, which could either be a national ID for domestic flights or bound to bordering countries, or a passport for international flights.
- The passenger must show all of his departing and arriving documents, sanitation and others required by the regulations of the countries where he will fly.
- In case of travelling with minors on international flights, you must also comply with the following:
- In the case of minors travelling with both their parents, with their marriage license or the birth certificates of the minors, or passports, whichever suits each passenger.
- In the case of minors travelling with one of their parents, with a written authorization given by both of them before a public notary, besides the documents already mentioned.
- When minors are travelling without any of their parents, with a written authorization given by both of them before a public notary, besides the documents already mentioned.
PASSENGERS FAILING TO SHOW UP AT THE AIRPORT
- When a passenger fails to show up at the counter having a confirmed reservation, airlines can apply an extra fee according to their regulations.
- This fee will also be charged when a passenger asks for a refund of his ticket, or calls to cancel or modify his confirmed reservation with a time notice of less than 24 hours before the scheduled flight.
PASSENGER'S CONDUCT ABOARD THE PLANE
- Passengers must observe a proper conduct aboard in order to avoid putting the airplane, any person or property aboard at risk, being at the discretion of the airline otherwise, the adoption of all the necessary measures to enforce its regulations.
