LAND TRANSPORTATION
Interurban and Inter-provincial
BUS
The interurban bus service in Argentina is extensive and all the provinces in the country can be accessed from Buenos Aires, as well as some neighbouring countries.
There are two kinds of service, the common and the differential. The common is the most economic, though you are not guaranteed a seat, they are buses rather uncomfortable and do not have air conditioner or heater. The differential service on the other hand is a little more expensive, has reclining seats (bed buses in some cases), have service personnel on board and offer their passengers a snack.
There is a collective service in Buenos Aires called differential; in these buses the seats are comfortable and guaranteed, take more direct routes and only stop when a passenger has arrived to his or her destination or when there are seats available.
The bus terminal of the City of Buenos Aires is the place to take the buses that cover national and international routes. There are numerous bus lines operating throughout the country, which are parked at the Terminal of Buenos Aires according to the destination they are bound for. The tickets are purchased at the proper facilities.
You can board the microbuses or urban buses to travel to the neighbouring cities.

Numerous bus companies operate all over the country, reaching practically every city with comfortable vehicles (some acclimatised, with colour TV, toilette and attendant service). The bus terminal of Buenos Aires is located on 1880 Ramos Mejia Avenue, close to the Retiro Station.
