Off-road tours in four wheel drive is practiced in Necochea, Carmen de Patagones, Pinamar, Tandil, Tornquist, Tres Arroyos and Villa Gesell.

Plant and wildlife safaris can be carried out in Bahía Blanca, Chascomús, Mar Chiquita, Pilar and Tandil. But the place to go for these activities is first and mostly the Ribera Norte Ecological Reserve in San Isidro, where you will be able to join guided tours and also on the Martín García Island Reserve, where you can find the white heron, cormorants and the caracolero, the snail eating bird of prey. We must also mention the greenfinch and the silver/beaked "Pico de plata". Here you will also find deer and coypus (Myocaster coypus), a kind of local beaver, easy to sight during daylight hours as well as many snakes and lizards to be found in the area called Barrio chino (Chinatown).

Photo Safaris are common in Castelli, Chascomús, Coronel Rosales, Tandil and Villa Gesell. And especially in the area called Tigre, down by the Delta, either on foot or by boat. These tours include transport, food and technical photographic assistance and end up with a later date to analyse the pictures taken.

Kayaking, and in general any typical nautical sport such as motor boating, windsurfing, aqua jetting, water-skiing, punting or rowing can be practised all over the Paraná Delta area (San Fernando, Tigre, Escobar and Zárate). Also in Pilar, Junín, and in the many lakes in the surroundings of Buenos Aires, i.e. Chascomús, Monte, Lobos.

Sport fishing fans will find good possibilities to practice their sport in Bahía Blanca, Junín, Chascomús and Maipú. There is also good fishing to be found in the Paraná Delta area. Skilled or lucky fishermen will be able to catch breams, "armados", catfish, and dorados, and the very sought after atherine, either from the shore or from boats rented especially for this purpose.

Big Game hunting can be carried out in the city of Tandil, more specifically in private game reserves. Amongst the most popular trophies you can find harts and deer, wild boar and wild goats. For small game, you will find good places if you search out those local guides that own private reserves in Bahía Blanca and Maipú. You will be able to bag partridges, hares, vizcacha rodents, duck and great bustards.

Ranch (Estancia) life can be savoured at Tandil, Bahía Blanca, Chascomús, Maipú, Médanos, and 9 de Julio. In the province of Buenos Aires there are around 150 Estancia houses where people can stay over. There are all types, from modest to luxurious, allowing for all kinds of activities and pocketbooks.
The visitor can choose between a one day stay or, if he (or she) so prefers, stay for a longer period. Whatever you choose you will have the opportunity to appreciate all aspects of country life, in many cases the visitor is even invited to partake in the productive part of the agriculture activities or cattle breeding being carried out. Furthermore there will be ample opportunities to see local folk dancing and taste the local cuisine.
