BY AIR
The huge distances to cover in this immense country makes the airplane the most apt means of transport over long distances. Of course there is always the possibility to combine this with bus or train services. Those visitors coming from abroad have the possibility to acquire in their country of origin the "Air pass Visite Argentina", issued by Aerolíneas Argentinas and Austral Líneas Aéreas, which allows the traveller to fly cheaply within Argentina, or the "Mercosur Air pass" which covers Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay.

All international flights to Argentina arrive at the International Airport "Ministro Pistarini (Ezeiza)", which is located 35 kilometres from the city of Buenos Aires, the Federal Capital. It is only a fifteen minutes ride on the "Teniente General Ricchieri" highway.

Domestic flights and those to Uruguay leave from the Jorge Newberry airport, situated in the northern part of the city, close to the Río de la Plata river, five minutes away from the city centre. Aerolíneas Argentinas, Austral, Dinar cover Main feeder routes, LADE, LAER, LAPA, SW; and you can fly with TAN into the interior.

Both airports offer 24-hour services of normal and deluxe taxi services, colectivos and minivans.

BY TRAIN
Argentina has one of the most extensive railroad networks in the world. The sole operator of this network is Ferrobaires. Only in the city of greater Buenos Aires there are five major train stations from whence the traveller can reach any corner of the immense Argentinean territory.

It also counts with an Underground or subway network that covers all the barrios or neighbourhoods of the city.

An extensive network of roads converges on Buenos Aires as the hub.

BY BUS
The bus station for national routes in Buenos Aires is to be found on Avenida Ramos Mejía 1680, close to the railroad station Retiro. Long distance coaches include rest rooms, air conditioning and bar service.
