Mountaineering, trekking, horse riding and mountain bike are only some of the possible activities that could be performed among the steep and unmatched paths this Province stores for the visitor.
But there are also the nautical sports to be performed over the uncounted rivers, streams and man-made lakes which are strewn all over the region. And its correct counterpart, the direct observation, by sight or by sound of the animal and plant wildlife that exist in any area, depending on the time of the year.
The paraglide finds its natural space upon the viewing point of Cuchi Corral, located in a 400 metre high depression over the Valley of the Pintos River, close to the locality of La Cumbre.
A circuit known as Turismo Minero (Mining Tourism), which consists in visiting natural caves and caverns, along with several cavities modified by men following a scientific and cultural interest. And example of this is the Caves of Ongamira, at only a few kilometres after Capilla del Monte.
Nevertheless, one of the innovating tourist activities the traveller should not miss is the ‘Hunting’ of animals, plants or even landscapes armed with a photographic or video camera. It also includes the recording of sounds in their natural habitat, as bird songs, water flowing or only the sound of wind blowing.
