The Lake San Roque and its surroundings.

The construction of the San Roque Reservoir was ended in 1944. It contains 350 million cubic metres of water and outflow level 35,30 metres high. This dam replaced the one that was constructed between 1885 and 1891 by the engineers Cassaffousth, Bialet Massé and Dumesnil. It was at first the largest of its kind in the world. Lime from the Province was utilised for its construction.
Usina Vieja or Molet: Built in 1903 as an hydrocarbon plant, it was acquired in the year of 1907 by the Electricity Company of Cordoba to be lately replaced by the new San Roque Central Plant, which was situated at few kilometres from the dam's wall.
Lake San Roque

At the centre of the City are situated a lot of commercial houses offering many regional products such as sweets, fabrics, pottery and others. There is also an assorted display of nocturnal activities, including shows, discotheques and a local casino. At the northern region of the San Roque Lake stands the locality of Bialet Massé, nestled at the highlands, where the visitor can enjoy the contact with nature while going out on bicycles, strolling, or at horseback and taking pleasure from the beach resorts that lay at the shores of the Cosquin River.
Alta Gracia

The Region of Paravachasca was the head town of an important aboriginal settlement as well as one of the main ranches of the Jesuits throughout the Province. Its historical whereabouts can be known by visiting the Museum of Virrey Linniers, the Museum of the City and the Museum of the Spanish musician Manuel de Falla. Alta Gracia has some interesting cultural circuits for the visitor's pleasure, along with golf courses, beach resorts, adventure tourist activities, a well provided lodging network, cinemas, a casino and extraordinary typical dishes.
Mina Clavero (Traslasierra)
Mina Clavero is, at the present days, the principal tourist centre from the Traslasierra Valley. It has a regular population of six thousand souls, but an approximate number of 14,000 spaces for lodging visitors, half of which are distributed on houses for rent, the remaining half being shared by hotels, cabins, inns and campsites.
There are also many activities within the field of adventure tourism, as riding on horseback, trekking, driving mountain bikes, all terrain vehicle excursions, go fishing trout or atherines and motorised delta wing flights departing from the local aerodrome.

Other Places to Visit
There are plenty other places to visit, as Villa Venegas, San Lorenzo, the Cuesta del Cura Brochero, Los Pozos, Dique la Viña, Los Hornillos, Los Molles Stream and lots of other exciting localities.
For the fans of adventure tours, the zone stores the possibility of driving 4x4 vehicles across some of the tracks of the Cross Country World Championship, mountain biking, para gliding over the Road of the Altas Cumbres, four wheeled motorcycles, trekking, horse riding at the vicinity of the Panaholma, Mina Clavero and Los Sauces Rivers or at the feet of the Champaquí Mountain as well a practicing mountaineering.
Staying at the beach resorts, walking through forests, horse rides; nautical sports and fishing are the main activities across natural realms this region grants to its visitors with. There is, in a few words, a lot to be seen and a lot to be visited.
