This highland locality, situated over the Route E-53, awaits for the visitor to take care to his every single need, including lodging and feeding. It also offers the possibility of regarding two important relics.
One is the Iglesia San Vicente Ferrer Church built during the mid 18th Century; and, if we take the pebbled road towards La Cumbre - a winding road surrounded by some beautiful landscapes but one that demands a careful driving due to its sharp turns and sheer precipices - for a distance of 11 kilometres, we will arrive to Candonga, where we will find the Nuestra Señora del Rosario Chapel, constructed in 1730 by the Jesuit order with the help of indigenous artists.
The old Estancia, one of the main posts for mules along the old Camino Real on its way to the Alto Perú, has been presently refurbished and modified as a recreational ranch in order to bring the best service to enjoy a trip that is full of panoramic sights.
There is also a natural river beach resort over the San Vicente Stream, amidst thickets of trees and crystalline waters, which constitute a place of a most distinctive beauty.
