House of Leopoldo Lugones - Historical Museum
This compound contains the Lugonian Museum, the Public Library and a workshop for autochthon textiles.
It is located in an ancient one-storey building with thick baked adobe walls and terraced roofs. The pieces of the exhibition are arranged around a large square patio, which is framed by an adobe wall. The place also contains a fountain or aljibe and a very old carob tree. This was the birthplace of Leopoldo Lugones, one 13th of June of 1874.
Location: 459 Cautivita Street.
Museo Arqueológico Municipal "Enrique Ulla"
This Archaeological Museum was founded in the year of 1983, and was entirely built and furnished by the municipality. It is a cultural centre where important artistic exhibits take place, along with conferences and reunions. It preserves the collection of drawings from the pictographs of Cerro Colorado made by the engineer Absjorn Ludovico Pedersen, who devoted most of his life to study the northern regions of the Province.
Location: at the Avenue that runs parallel to National Route N° 9.
Capilla de la Virgen Cautiva (Cerro del Romero) - Chapel
This edifice was entirely built in stone and shelters the image of the Virgen Cautiva, patroness of the Village. It lays at the top of the Romero Mountain, the same one which Leopoldo Lugones sang to in his first poems. The Chapel is reached through a stairway. From this place the whole extension of the Village can be sighted.
Primera Capilla del Pueblo - First Chapel of the Town
It is situated at the feet of the Romero Mountain, but there remain only vestiges of it. There is an old document which states that around 1611 the parochial ministry was in charge of the priest Juan Sánchez in this place.
Monument to Pancho Ramírez
Located also at the bottom of the Romero Mountain, in the same location of the Primera Capilla del Pueblo. It is a memorial erected by the Government of Entre Ríos to the native hero Francisco Ramírez, as the story tells, at the exact spot where the severed head of the local champion was put on display after being assassinated some few miles away from the Village.
During the early days of 1986, the authorities of Entre Ríos placed a memorial plaque on the monument to confirm their consideration to his memory as well as to the history of Argentina.
Municipal Campsite
It is located at the margins of the Río Seco River, few blocks away from the centre of the Village. It has barbecue grills among the trees and cost-free electricity.
Dique - Reservoir
Situated over the Río Seco River.
Excursions
At the area of the Jordán River (which is the Río Seco River itself but with a different name), one of the places to visit is La Quinta, where the Los Manantiales Bayou runs by. Another interesting place is La Estancia, crossed by the San Pablo Stream. The El Silverio stream runs through the homonymous Ranch. All these streams are tributary branches of the Río Seco River.

They take place between the first and the seventh day of October. It is done to honour the Nuestra Señora del Rosario. The Virgen Cautiva is also worshipped during this celebrations, in the name of which an enacting that recreates the Rescue of the Image from the hands of the Chaco indigenes, who had previously abducted it, is performed by the villagers.
