Chapel of the Flowers
It is located in the barrio neighbourhood of Portecelo and dates back to 1957. The Virgin Mary is worshiped in it under the advocation of Our Lady of the Flowers, which is one of the reasons why this Town is known as "the garden of Punilla".
Church of Our Lady of the Valley
It was inaugurated in 1964, and this temple receives the visit of a great number of worshipers everyday of the year since that date.
Lake Reserve
This Reserve was created to preserve the ecosystem, for it has a great variety of animal and vegetal species. It is located on the banks of the San Francisco River, downstream from the municipal resort.
Road of the Artisans
You will be able to watch a few small houses and workshops where local artisans work and sell their products while going along this dirt road a few kilometres long, enveloped by a gorgeous setting that includes a series of ecological farms scattered on the sierras.
You can find all shorts of products in here, from minute elves, country food, aromatherapy, basketworks, small furniture, home made loaves, bijouterie, wool fabrics, semiprecious stones, liquors, homemade sweets and tin caned food and ceramics. Moreover, you can visit a coffee house or café concert with world-class music and artistic shows. It is recommendable to take this tour in a car.
Alto San Pedro and Horseback Rides
Specialised guides will take you to tour these lands where long ago one of the most important ranches was founded giving its name to the locality. You will go along a road with leafy vegetation until reaching the Alto San Pedro Park Hotel, where you will enjoy the excellent comfort and visit the shops in the area, from where rides on horseback set off.
Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes and Calvary
It is located on a small hill that can be climbed along a well-kept trail. After going through the stations of the Way of the Cross during the ascension, you will find the grotto and a cross when reaching the top.
It is on San Martin Avenue unnumbered, behind the Chapel of Our Lady of Mercy.
Engineer Thea Mill
Italian engineer Miguel Thea built it based on an old colonial stone mill and it is now the Town's tourist symbol. Nowadays there is only the vantage point left, and it is private property.
Alto de San Pedro
It is at the foot of the Sierras Chicas. There is the Alto San Pedro Park Hotel and a shop from where guided tours to the dike of San Juan, which is hidden on the hill, set off on horseback.

Farms
Monte de Olivos is a unique ecological farm in the area, and there you can enjoy a nice tour to watch animals such as goats, cows, sheep, pigs, etc. They have a worm breeder and pine mushrooms amongst other attractions. Tel 49-1514
Portecelo Lake Natural Reserve is located on the San Francisco River, and you can watch birds and the local fauna in here.
Beaches and Beach Resorts
San Pablo: It is on the way to Thea Mill, on the San Francisco River. It has woodland, barbeques, swimming pools, bar and restrooms.
Portecelo: It is on Independencia Avenue unnumbered, beside Portecelo Dike, on the San Francisco River. It has barbeques, sweetshops, swimming pools, parking area, and there is a lifesaver as well.
Ways of access
By land
From Buenos Aires and other parts of the country taking National Routes N° 9 or 8; the Town of Giardino is along Route N° 38.
There are bus services coming from the Federal Capital, Great Buenos Aires and the rest of the country to Cordoba and Giardino.
By air
You can land at Cordoba's airport coming from Buenos Aires and the rest of the country.
