Located at 37 kilometres from San Salvador de Jujuy, down the Ruta Nacional Nº 9 National Route and the Ruta Provincial Nº 2 Provincial Route, the traveller will encounter a small village of slightly more than 800 people called San Antonio.

It has a lovely little plaza, with a water fountain in the centre, and the curious but harmonically composed façade of the local church with its door, four windows and also four round windows like wall skylights, which look like as if they hade been bored through or drilled out of the wall.

Possible activities include trekking, biking tours, observation of flora and fauna, white water river rafting and photo safaris.
