SOUTHEAST TOURIST CIRCUIT
If travellers have decided to visit the Southeast Tourist Circuit, after going all over their multiple guidebooks, believing it is worthy only because of its Hot springs at Rosario de la Frontera, they are wrong. That is not the only beauty to be encountered in his circuit. When leaving Salta through the Ruta Nacional Nº 9 National Route, they can visit places of great historical value, such as the Museo de la Vida Rural - Finca La Cruz (Rural Life's Museum - La Cruz Ranch), the Chamical church, and the Fuerte de Cobos Fort.
They will arrive at the Parque Nacional El Rey National Park, going through the Ruta Nacional Nº 34 and then taking the Rutas Provinciales Nº 5 and Nº 20; and returning through the Nº 34, they will find the city of Metán, known for its agricultural and stockbreeding activities. From here, the Posta de Yatasto Post, where Generals San Martín, Belgrano and Güemes met, and currently a National Historical Monument, is 14 kilometres away.
Continuing through this road, travellers will encounter Rosario de la Frontera, a renowned place for its hot springs, and of great economic importance due to its agriculture, especially vegetables. The total circuit is 348 kilometres long.
