In Buenos Aires there exist three airports Aeroparque J. Newbery, the International Airport Ezeiza Ministro Pistarini and Aerostación Comandante Espora, in Bahia Blanca. The most important of these is the International Airport Ezeiza (EZE), located 34 kms from the city, and that serves many International airlines as well as those National airlines that fly abroad.

Although other international airports exist in Argentina, these are used generally only for flights to nearby countries, for which the majority of the times is necessary to transfer to the Airport Ezeiza to continue the trip to North America, Europe and other continents.

The called domestic flights of "cabotage", which destination there are the cities of the interior of Argentina, arrive and leave from Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (AEP) located approximately at 15 minutes from the centre of Buenos Aires. In these local flights it is necessary to pay an airport tax.
