Religion: 85% Catholic Roman, 7%, Protestant in addition to some small Moslem and Jewish communities.
Currency
The official Argentine currency is the Peso. There are bills of 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 Pesos, and coins of 1 Peso and of 1, 5, 10, 25 and 50 cents.
Symbols
The flag consists of three horizontal stripes: a white centrally located strip with the rising sun and two adjacent sky-blue ones. The national flower is that of ceibo and the national stone, the rodocrosita or " Rose of the Inca ".
Holidays
Although other festivities exist, the dates in the diagram below are considered to be a National holiday in Argentina. Of these on Maundy Thursday and December 8th are labour free holidays for civil servants and optional for other institutions. For the commodity and rest of the persons, these holidays are mobile, which means they are transferred to the next Monday or the day before the holiday itself.
